This is what yogis do.
They take self care seriously. (It’s like putting one’s oxygen mask on.)
They recognize that breathing deeply and methodically is a radical, necessary act of love. (Their families and communities reap the benefit.)
They play. They rest. No matter what. And in so doing they keep on doing their selfless work in the world — taking right action. As the Gita reminds: “The yogi is alike in pleasure and pain.”
The yogi has lived through epochs. Through the wildest ups and downs, through the play of goodness and evil. All the while sitting, observing, softly taking in the wonder and the mystery of life.
How are you doing? Leave a hello in the comments 🙂
