A blanket might be helpful.
This is just as much a workshop as a flow. We work on three separate skills: uddiyana bandha, chin stand, and mayurasana (AKA peacock pose).
I begin with a detailed breakdown of uddiyana bandha and then weave specific cues about the belly lock throughout the practice.
We also progress through strengthening exercises designed to prepare your body to execute both chin stand and mayurasana. Note that these two postures use some of the same muscles. Specifically, they require strength in the glutes and in the spinal extensors of the low back.
