Welcome

New class posted every Sunday

This week I offer something a little different:: I am really hearing those of you who need a 30-min option! That’s why I’ve recorded two shorter practices — one an energizing, workout-style class, the other a calm hip flexor release. //

To those who love the 60-min option best:: Don’t worry! I’ll continue to offer primarily 60-min flows w/ some 20-40-min options here and there for when you’re short on time. Have a great week, everyone!

Firm

May 9, 2021

Firm but oh so soft… This flow gets into your legs before stirring up whole-body heat and then capping it off with big hip and heart opening.

Juicy

May 2, 2021

I really thought I’d never call a class “Juicy,” but that sums up how I felt when this practice was through.

This flow emphasizes balance and offers up some creative fare, like: neck ‘therapy’ to begin, feel-good flowing, and press practice for headstand, forearm stand and handstand.

Everywhere

Apr 25, 2021

Here is a whole-body affair! Prepare the body with pranayama and progressive movement as you build into your solid sequences, which have a creative touch here. Find a playful/challenging arm balance sequence & foot-behind-the-head PREP, with all of that fiery effort countered by a psoas release hold just shy of the 40-minute mark.

hippy flow

A whole lot of hips and not a single pigeon. A complete class with opportunity for headstand and forearm stand.

How are you doing? Leave a hello in the comments 🙂

be Love

March 29, 2020

We share some sweet meditative intention setting to make room for what is, and then movement begins at around 5 mins. As the practice progresses, you’ll find binds, side planks, heart opening, and chances to get upside down — all in the context of creatively sequenced, smooth flow.

Strength & Serenity

July 28, 2019

Here’s a lively practice that brings many elements together, including a few you’ve requested. Beginning with bellows pranayama and guided by the balance between strength & ease, we visit some powerful favorites with a spirit of “none of these really matters in the grand scheme, so why get all scrunched about it?”

Grasshopper

July 21, 2019

This practice safely and systematically builds toward the arm balance Grasshopper. One of you pointed out that we’d been preparing our hips so nicely this season that it could be a good opportunity to do this challenging pose.

Side Body Magic

July 7, 2019

This class digs into the side body. It brings length into the waist, the side ribs, the lateral arms and outer, upper legs. It’s amazing how much this part of the body can get ignored, and it can feel so freeing to get roomier there.
