New class posted every Sunday

This week I offer something a little different:: I am really hearing those of you who need a 30-min option! That’s why I’ve recorded two shorter practices — one an energizing, workout-style class, the other a calm hip flexor release. //

To those who love the 60-min option best:: Don’t worry! I’ll continue to offer primarily 60-min flows w/ some 20-40-min options here and there for when you’re short on time. Have a great week, everyone!

This flow emphasizes balance and offers up some creative fare, like: neck ‘therapy’ to begin, feel-good flowing, and press practice for headstand, forearm stand and handstand.

Find a playful/challenging arm balance sequence & foot-behind-the-head PREP, with all of that fiery effort countered by a psoas release hold just shy of the 40-minute mark.

“Liquid” — This practice moves steadily and gracefully along, deepening as you go. Find balancing, backbending, strengthening drills, and more. There’s a focus on compression work, which necessitates use of the hip flexors and hamstring mobility.

You’ll find some pleasant holds in this steady class that injects some flying surprises, like 1/2 Crow/1/2 Tittibhasana. Peacock variation, and handstand opportunities. Creative hip opening to close.
