- Leigha has been an influential yoga educator in the online space since way back in 2011 when she began offering popular, full-length Vinyasa yoga classes on YouTube.
- Class sizes are LIMITED so that each and every trainee can receive personalized attention. Leigha is invested in every single student.
- As a former literature professor, Leigha brings to the training a deep understanding of yoga's ancient texts and the philosophy contained within.
- Your preparation and CONFIDENCE are the #1 priority. You will have LOADS of opportunities to practice your teaching for feedback. This level of practical training is rare for any kind of training, online or in-person.
- We are an INCLUSIVE training. Leigha welcomes all people. She has curated a SAFE SPACE for everyone who enters — no matter your size, shape, color, sexual orientation, gender expression, faith, neuro-divergence, or anything else that makes you the unique and amazing human you are.
Admission is rolling
- You have 6+ mos of experience taking yoga classes.
- You have a desire to deepen your practice and very possibly teach yoga — online, in-person, or both.
- You'll appreciate a deep dive into the Yoga Sutras, the text that brought the path to light! (MANY 200 hr trainings gloss the Sutras. Not this one! You've got a former Lit professor leading the gig here. There's no chance I'm skipping this gold.)
- You want to work hard and study ALL THE THINGS: breathing, asana, sequencing, methodology, anatomy, Sanskrit, alignment, energetics...
- You are willing to take quizzes and do weekly homework, and you will submit this homework on time.
- You will make the time to dedicate yourself — about 1-2 hours per day (give or take) between on-demand modules, live training sessions, and at-home practicum.
- You will do your best to SHOW UP, for yourself and for your fellow trainees who will benefit from your observations and feedback.
- You will help me to create a safe and supportive space for EVERYONE who enters. Love and compassion are your thing.
- You're not interested in the history of yoga.
- You were hoping to slide by without doing much work.
- You don't trust yourself to actually TAKE THE ACTION and submit your practice assignments.
- You don't do quizzes, and procrastination is your middle name.
- You're not sure you can show up week after week.
- You can't visualize yourself succeeding.
Okay, now that that's out of the way...

8 weeks of programming plus 2 bonus weeks
prerecorded content + live training sessions

At least ONCE weekly attendance at live calls is required. One absence is waived. If you need to miss more than this, just stay in good touch with me, and we’ll discuss a way to make up the missed work.
All calls are recorded and posted in the Community for your review.
support, discussion, and practicum
Participate in our private community hub to discuss texts and hook up with teaching practice partners. This is where assignments will be posted and your assignment submissions will be shared.
I can’t speak highly enough of the community interface we use. It enables you to enter private meetups with your fellow trainees and so much more.
full-on engagement + progress checking
You’ll be taking weekly quizzes to make sure you’re up to speed on the material. You’ll also practice teaching, provide classmates with feedback, and keep a home-practice log.
My central, guiding purpose here is to help you feel impenetrably CONFIDENT upon graduation. In order to get there, you’ll have to show up along the way.
This is a deeply SUPPORTIVE training experience. I am invested in your success.
Yes, if you’d like to!
Ask me about the LEADERSHIP PATH.
Cool!
Many people take their teacher training for this reason. You’re in good company.
You’ll need to carve out about 10-20 hours a week or 1-2ish hours per day on average in order to meet the course requirements.
You’ll be doing a ton of both!
We balance our study of foundational asanas with study of the true purpose of yoga as laid out by Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.
Yes! Upon completion, you’ll be able to register as a 200-hr RYT (registered yoga teacher) if you wish to.
I work hard to ensure that all students graduate with their teaching certificate. Of course, you will have to do your part as well by showing up to live calls and meeting the course requirements.
So far, we have a 100% graduation rate.
If for any reason an emergency arises, and you can’t complete the work, I will continue to work with you until you finish — for up to ONE YEAR.
Where there’s a will there’s a way! Let’s talk about this on a call together. Even though this is a Vinyasa-based training, the path of yoga is fundamentally a spiritual practice that does not discriminate against practitioners with physical conditions that make practice difficult.
Fill out your application and schedule a short meeting with me to make sure we can make this work for you.
Assuming you complete all of the course requirements and earn your certificate, then YES! Absolutely! Go make the world a better place!
$2200 with timed payments
$2000 pay in full discount
Prices increases each year.
Yes, absolutely.
You can select from of variety of payment plans to work within your budget.
These times change each session based on group need. I work with you to make sure you can attend once per week.
CONFIDENCE + hands-on experience, baby.
You will have more chances to practice teaching for constructive feedback than in any program I have ever heard of.
My primary goals are to help you feel CONFIDENT, PREPARED and ready to roll upon graduation. You get weekly mentorship from Leigha.
